Is the DSG on my Golf going to last?

I'm coming to the end of a motability lease on this vehicle, which I like very much. I am considering buying it if the price is acceptable, but am a bit dubious about the long term reliability of the 7 spd DSG gearbox, and would welcome any relevant comments please. My annual mileage is around the 5-6k mark.
