Adding a European to my insurance
I have been insured with IAM Surety for the last few years, but I would like to add my girlfirend to my insurance policy, which is up for renewal, to be able to drive my car. She is from the Netherlands and holds a dutch licence. IAM would limit her to a nominated 4 weeks of the year. Do you know of a more flexible insurer? Kind regards, Nic Hodgkinson

If she is permanently resident in the UK then there is no reason why she should not qualify for normal insurance. An EC licence is now as valid in the UK as a UK licence.
