5 or 6 speed Yaris 1.4 D-4D
I'm looking to get a D-4D 1.4 Yaris in order to reduce the cost of my daily motorway / A road 84 mile commute. I note from the technical specs there is a 6 speed version which has a much better official MPG then the 5 speed. In reality is there much difference that makes it worth purchasing the 6 speed?

More gears means 6th can be higher so the engine runs at lower revs on the motorway. That makes for lower fuel consumption.
