Can you recommend a small and economical used car?

I need a small used car with good fuel economy and easy access for three elderly passengers. I also want a decent sized boot for holiday luggage and simple driving controls. I have £7000 to spend, what can you recommend?

Toyota Yaris 1.4 D-4D, prior to 2010 (no DPF), Honda Jazz 1.4ES.

Real MPG enables you to register the fuel economy you are actually getting against your make and model of car, its engine and type of transmission.

Every time you enter an average consumption figure against your car, the overall average automatically adjusts to reflect it.
