Front tyre problem - what's the cause?

Something is wearing approx 5mm line through to the canvas inside of the front tyres - not on the tread but inner sidewall. Have made sure pressures are checked each time I fill up with petrol as this has happened with 3 sets of front tyres now

Speed cushions. Don't straddle them. The chamfered sides wreck the inner shoulders of tyres.
