Will off-road tyres mean increased fuel consumption?

I have a Nissan Navara currently fitted with road tyres however I'm considering replacing them with off road tyres as some of my work takes me off road where even with my 4 x 4 capability (and hi/lo ratio)...

Can you recommend some 4x4 all-season tyres?

The tyres fitted to my daughter's Freelander 2 need replacing. She lives in the sticks and needs a good all-round tyre. We do get snow in our part of the world. Recommendations, please? Thank you and regards.
