Car hit me from behind - can i force insurance company to repair my car
A car hit me from behind. My bumper was crushed inwards and i could not open my boot. Her insurance company phoned saying that she had admitted all liability. They sent around an assessor who, at my house, said they probably won't write off my car as it was in good condition. They asked that i drive up to their garage - which i did. At the garage another person came to see the car and said differently - it was probably going to be written off. I paid £3200 for my car under 2 years ago. It has low mileage, a service history, just passed its mot 2 months ago with only a number plate light bulb out. this chap said i would be offered £1000 - £1500 (if lucky) for my car as the cost of repair was more along the lines of £1800-£2000. i looked on e bay and the cars around the same year are going for £2300, not knowing the condition, mileage or how they run. i really dont want the fuss of searching for another car - i was happy with the one i had before this woman hit me. - i was also asked 2 days after the accident for my out of pocket expenses (of which i had none at the time) and if i had a bad neck (which i said i did not) - im not out for anything more than my car fixed! can i force them to fix my car ?

Find out what sort of deal they will offer if you keep the car and get it fixed yourself.
