Which Skoda diesel should I buy?
I am looking to buy Skoda with a 1.9 diesel. Which model/year will be reliable and less problematic as I want to avoid hefty repair bills.

Get one without a diesel particulate filter. Not sure if the 1.9 ever had one, because was replaced by the 1.6 by the date they became virtually compulsory.
