Zafira electrical problems

The electrics on my Zafira were playing up. The lights stayed on with no display on the dash. Started OK but now when I turn the key nothing at all works apart from the radio.

I'm not a mechanic but would appreciate any advice to help me get it fixed.

Is the battery ok? If so then try disconnecting the battery and leave it disconnected for 2 mins.

Then reconnect BUT DO NOT switch anything on at all. Leave for 30 mins then try to start. (This allows the ECU to reset itself).

If it's still no good then you may need the help of a local mechanic.
