Should I pick an Audi?
Current car: Toyota Avensis 1.8 T3x (2006 facelifted model)
Current mileage: ~11000/year
I am considering replacing my current car, I have been looking at an Audi A3 2.0 TDI SLine STronic (October 2008, mileage approx 35,000).
My daily journeys are approximately 9 miles each way, with some of 3-4 each way.
After years of 'family cars' I test drove the Audi the other day and fell in love, it seemed to offer a certain amount of family responsibility with potentially better fuel economy with a lot more fun.
However, there is a 'sensible' side of me saying is it the right car?
Are there things on the car that I need to be aware of, potential problems in the future, is my mileage to low and will I end up causing problems with the DPF?
Generally, I need some expert advice on whether 'heart or head' rules?

With Audis you pay for the status of owning one. 10% - 20% more than an equivalent VW, and about 30% ,ore than an equivalent SEAT or Skoda. (They're all the same under the skin.) Generally you will get a better class of service from an Audi dealer, though. And the premium you pay will normally be reflected in the premium you get when you sell the car.
