CD/Radio replacement for a Corolla

I have been trying to buy the correct fascia to enable my broken CD/Radio to be replaced.

I had beed given a new cd/radio and installation costs as a Christmas present. Halfords (supplier) tried three different models and then said they could not help so purchased cd/radio was returned.

I have since contacted numerous companies sending photos of the dash, I have either been told they dont have anything or had no reply. I cant believe that a replacement fascia doesn't exist? I am past caring what it looks like I just want a cd player and radio that works. Can you help? It's a 2003 Corolla Verso.

I don't know what the aperture is like. Either single DIN or double DIN should accommodate an aftermarket unit. If the shape is specific to Toyota, ten only Toyota gear will fit. The photo here looks like it's roughly 2/3 od double DIN: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/toyota/corolla-and-v.../
