Space for ten
I currently have a VW transporter shuttle that seats nine. We have another baby on the way, and we need a vehicle (as unlike a minibus as possible) that will seat the eight children.
I noticed Nissan doing one in the US this year.

Questions:
1. Will this come to the UK?
2. Could we add an additional seat into the boot of the current transporter?
3. What other options do we have, without upgrading to a huge 12/14 seater minibus?

There is an NV combi in the UK, but it's a 7 seater. 1.5 Renault diesel engine. Quite a decent drive.
The only way is something like a Renault Trafic bus, Transit Tourneo, Hyundai i800, etc.
