Green flagged
We had the misfortune to break down on the way north on holiday, we had travelled for about two hours and as usual we stopped for a break at Wetherby Services and on entering the services I heard strange noises coming from the engine area. After a brief inspection decided to call "Green Flag" our recovery Company. After a short discussion on the telephone with Green Flag they sent a recovery truck that arrived after around thirty minutes. The mechanic tried to identify the fault and attempted to solve the problem but to no avail. I called Green Flag again and asked that we be taken to our destination in Scotland that they were prepared to do under the terms of our contract. The car was taken to Durham services where we were met after a short break by another vehicle which put the car on the back of a trailer and we were then taken to our destination in Morayshire arriving at eleven thirty in the evening! The following morning, Monday, I rang Green Flag and asked that the car be taken to the SAAB garage in Inverness and within forty minutes a firm from Banff arrived to transport the car to the garage. The fault was the air conditioning unit and after a few days the car was repaired and collected. The car is now running well. I cannot praise Green Flag high enough for its efficiency.
