Will Volkswagen repair a Teves ESP fault on my 2005 Golf Plus?
I would like some assistance with how to approach Volkswagen as my 5-year-old Golf Plus (2005 with 44,000 miles) has now become the latest in a long line of failures of the Teves Mk 60 ESP. I noticed that Volkswagen relented and accepted the cost to repair the reader’s vehicle? Our car has been serviced by a Volkswagen dealer, or by an independent Volkswagen dealer to Volkswagen specifications. Any help you may pass on would be grateful received as the costs involved with fixing this issue seem very expensive

Volkswaen now seems to pay 100 per cent for a dealer repair to a three or four-year-old car that is fully dealer serviced, and does the job for approximately cost on four or five-year-old cars that are fully dealer serviced. Email volkswagencustomercare@volkswagen.co.uk to find out where you stand. If the cost is likely to exceed £500, then it may be better to go to www.ecutesting.co.uk or www.sinspeed.co.uk and simply get the pressure sensor fixed.
