I often read where you recommend the wonderful Nissan Note to your readers who are looking for a versatile, economical car. When wishing to reduce to one car, we took your advice and replaced my Renault Scenic (which I loved but my wife found too big to handle comfortably) along with her Micra (for scrappage) and purchased a Nissan 1.5DI Note Tekna.

We have found it is all that it is claimed to be, having a very comfortable, versatile interior and the excellent Nissan Connect system including navigation, CD and radio, and hands-free telephone. We pay only £30 per year road tax along with an acceptable mpg, regularly over 55 mpg on short rural runs. Better still, on a recent a mainly all motorway journey of 230 miles at an average speed of 61mph, we recorded 65mpg. We are both delighted with the car.
