I would like to replace my 2004 Vauxhall Astra automatic - should I get another Astra or try a Honda Jazz?

My current car is an August 2004 1.8 Astra automatic purchased a year later, which I am now considering replacing. My two previous cars were also Astra automatics and I have been well pleased with them. I am looking to slightly downsize to a more economical car and considering an automatic, either a Corsa or a Honda Jazz (which you always give favourable write-ups on). I believe you have said that a full auto is being launched for the Jazz in the near future? I would much appreciate your help.

The Jazz Mk II was relaunched with a proper CVT-7 autobox in February 2011. Slightly expensive at from £14,500 but, with its undemanding drive and commodious interior, probably all the car you will ever want or need.
