Used car warranties

I purchased a Fiesta from a used car dealer 7 weeks ago - last week the car started cutting out on me and, cutting a long story short, the car needs a new coil pack, throttle body, replaced washers jets (which are leaking on to spark plugs) and PCM - in excess of £1,300!

We have also been advised of several other issues on the car by the garage we took it to. We were given a 3 month warranty with Warranties 2000 when we bought the car who have said none of the work is covered. Can you advise where we legally stand on this?

Yes, your rights are below. Nothing to do with the aftermarket warranty. Everything to do with the "unsatisfactory condition" of the car as it was sold to you. If the dealer fights, take it to the small claims track of the county court. Though this does assume you paid at least £2,000 for the car.
