Replace my Freelander?

My 3 year old Freelander has developed an oil seal leak and the dealer wants £1200 to repair it! Would you: Have the repair, talk to Land Rover, or find a replacement before the leak gets too serious?

Deponds where the leak is from. If it's from the gearbox input shaft seal it could affect the clutch and dual mass flywheel.
