Flat Eos acceleration

I have a Volkswagen Eos 1.4 160 BHP 2009. Have persistent flat spot on takeoff, VW acknowledge it is there but have not come up with a modification. Have you had similar complaints?

Yes. There is a fuelling problem with this engine that leads to bore washout and piston damage. VW is naturally tryng to keep it quiet.
