X-Trail fuelling issues
I wrote recently, and thank you for the reply, about my 2011 X-trail and the "flatness" around 2000rpm. My dealer says they all do it, something which I cannot believe and after much effort have now got a Nissan GB technician to attend the dealers when I take it in for the 4th time.
However, can I ask what you think of the following - I've always used Shell diesel, apart from some 1500 m in France over the last couple of weeks when Total was used on a couple of occasions, but on returning home I filled up with Shell V Power and guess what? A well behaved engine.
Now of course I don't want to have to rely on using this diesel, although I fully appreciate the advantages in economy as well as it clearly suiting my car, but surely I shouldn't have to rely on it and anyway shouldn't my dealer have told me all this, and Nissan advise all X-Trail owners that their Renault engines are fussy?

You know what I'm going to tell you. Use Shell V-Power all the time. What you lose on the price you gain on performance and can gain on fuel economy if you use it to its best advantage. But the biggest gain is not having to pay for fuel system cleaning and repairs.
