Whining noise from the engine bay

I have just bought a 2008 Peugeot 207 1.4 SE, there seems to be a whining noise from the engine while driving. The car has only covered 25,000 miles. I thought maybe one of the belts was making the sound, but not sure.

Possibly the alternator or a/c pump.
