1.6 Diesel Turbo Air Hose
Hello
I have a Volvo V50 1.6D, nearly 4 years old, 64000 Miles, with a hairline crack in the in the Turbo Air Hose and its replacement is recommended. As the car is outside the warranty period it is not covered.
The cost I have been supplied with for a piece of rubber is £145 plus half hours labour at £35 which I consider to be legalised robbery.
Is there anywhere else I can buy the rubber hose (OEM) from and install it myself or get a third party to do it if it is not for the average diy person?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks and Regards
Peter Lunn

This engine is a standard Ford/PSA unit used in literally millions of Fords, Citroens and Peugeots as well as Mazdas, Volvos and MINIs so a motor factor must be able to supply the part at much more reasonable cost.
