buying used Mazda5?
Thinking of buying used Mazda5. Read about problems with diesel versions but also heavy tyre consumption. Need to be changed around every 10,000 miles?
Is it worth buying a used Mazda5 then? Also fuel economy?

The new one (that I'm currently running) is vastly better. The 1.6 diesel engine and transmission are 120kilograms lighter than the old 2.0 engine and transmission and this transforms the ride and handling. I'm currently getting 45-46mpg out of the 1.6 diesel.
