A compromise
I am retired. I have a Mk 1 Freelander 2004 td4 (automatic) for general running about and towing an 18 foot caravan (Bailey Senator) 2 or 3 times a year.
Wife about to retire; has 2003 BMW 316i compact (manual & petrol).
Need to consolidate to one car between us - buget say £12,000.
One or two suggestions for us to consider please?
Also, do you know of a web site where you can enter criteria and be given some suggestions; rather than having to enter a specific car each time?

No website like this. We tried one for a while but to keep it up to date would have required two people working 7 days a week. Just not practical. I's be looking at a Honda CR-V 2.2i CDTI, base model in order to get the most car for your money.
