Why are the pedals on my new car so small?
My new MG ZS Hybrid+ brake and accelerator pedals are tiny and set quite high. Ive noticed that a number of new cars have much smaller pedals than older cars. Why is this? It makes for quite uncomfortable driving aside from the fact my foot has slipped off the pedals a couple of times. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

We have not seen reports from other vehicle owners regarding the size of pedals becoming smaller. Generally speaking pedals are a vehicle part that has not changed a great deal over the years, because for the most part they are not a sophisticated device and manufacturers will not update a part if they can continue to use an old one. If you are struggling with the size of your pedals you may wish to consider extensions which are available from mobility specialists such as Des Gosling Mobility - www.desgoslingmobilityltd.co.uk/
