Which 4x4?

Would a RAV4 diesel or Volkswagen Tiguan 4X4 be a good option. Is a new model (RAV4) in the pipeline please or alternatives as well as usual cars.

There's a new Tiguan. A new RAV-4 may not be far off. I'd add a Honda CR-V and a Mazda CX7 to your list.
