Family/ Learner car compromise
My daughter turns 17 later this year and will start learning to drive.
We run a Toyota Auris 1.6 and while I think it would be ok to learn in I suspect the insurance may be prohibitively expensive, so we're looking at smaller engined cars.
We need 5 seats and 5 doors so have discounted the C1/Aygo/KA size and are looking at Jazz / Polo / Fiesta / Clio type cars.
In your opinion is there a stand out car in that size that fulfils the 5 seat, 5 door family car role as well as being good to learn in and not excessively expensive to ensure.
