First car for a taller person - any thoughts?

Buying a first car for a 17 year old who is 6 foot 7 inches. Any ideas for head/leg room and low insurance?

I know a guy 6' 8" who can drive his mother's Aygo, so Citroen C1 or Aygo. If too small, Polos have always been good for the super tall.
