Can you tow with an EV?

I've been looking at new or almost new MG4s and MG ZS, but I am getting conflicting advice from dealers and towbar firms about whether they can take a towbar for a small trailer or bike rack. MG customer service was rather vague on the subject. If they cannot, do you know which EVs can tow up to 500 kg?

The MG4, MG5 and MG ZS EVs have an official towing capacity of 500kg, so it would just be a matter of finding a dealer or towbar supplier. Other vehicles you could consider which offer 500kg capacity or more include the Ford Explorer and Capri, Peugeot e-5008, Volkswagen ID.5 and ID.7 Pro and the Tesla Model 3.
