Car insurance excess
I am wondering, in the event of a car accident, i.e. if I went into someone and they claimed on my insurance, would it be me who pays the excess or them?
Also, what about no claims bonuses? If someone went into me would I lose my no claims bonus, and if I went into someone and they claimed off me, would I lose my no claims bonus then?

If you have comprehensive insurance then you only pay the excess on your own claim, not the third party's. Your insurance has to completely indemnify the third party. These days, even being involved in a claim can hike your insurance, whether you have no claims discount protection or not.
