I need a car with a better ride than my Golf, is a SEAT Arona a better choice?

I am thinking of changing my eight year old Golf for a two year old SEAT Arona in the hope of getting a more comfortable ride over our rough road surfaces.

Do you think that's a good choice or is there another of the same size you suggest I look at?

Your Volkswagen Golf should provide good ride comfort, unless it is fitted with large alloy wheels or has sport suspension, so before selling it you may wish to consider having the suspension checked, or possibly changing your tyres for something with a taller aspect ratio.

The SEAT Arona is a good small SUV, but we would not expect it to outperform the Golf in terms of ride quality.
