My hybrid system is not starting - why?

Why did my hybrid show not ready to start?

It's hard to determine the reason for this fault without more information, but if the hybrid battery doesn't have sufficient charge when starting then the system will not operate. We would suggest taking your car to your dealer or a local garage to have it assessed if you think the system is not working properly.
