Importing a car to the UK - can I still drive while the application is being processed?
I have applied to re-import my car to the UK. The application has been received by HMRC but the auto-reply states that they have 35 days to reply. Can I legally drive the car whilst waiting for the import to proceed?

Sadly not, you will need to keep the vehicle off the road until it has been properly registered, taxed and insured.
