Running an Aygo diesel

Engine management light comes on and goes off with no loss of power. I have had the EGR valve changed, this has not stopped the problem; when having a diagnosis, it shows exhaust gases.

If you have had it diagnosed, then the code should tell you what the problem is.
If you say it is showing exhaust gases, then it may be the Lambda /oxygen sensor.
