Garage has not carried out work - what can I do?
My Ford Transit van failed an MoT at the end of October 2021 on welding. I took it to a garage for an estimate for the work and was told it would take five days to complete. However, my van is still there now and the garage has messed me around for weeks - always a different excuse. I'm a self-employed as a tree surgeon so I have had no income.

I appreciate your dilemma as it would be too costly to transport the van to another garage. If you haven't already, I would make a complaint in writing to the manager or owner of the garage. If that doesn't resolve things you could go to the Motor Ombudsman if the garage is a member.
