Will electric car insurance prices increase?

Given that many electric cars have fantastic power and performance gains over internal combustion engine vehicles, are insurance prices going up to reflect this?

I am not aware of insurance prices on EVs going up for this reason. However, EVs tend to cost more to insure because of their higher purchase price.
