Can I legally get a car that hasn't been moved for a long time removed?

Is there some kind of law that states if a vehicle hasn't moved for a long time then it can be removed?

You can report abandoned vehicles to your local council. If the car is taxed, MoT'd, insured and parked legally then there is no law that states it cannot be parked up long term.
