Brunei’d girl
My wife and I are moving to Brunei soon and will need to buy a car there. I have got wind of a car available - a Toyota Soluna 1997, but I have never heard of the model. As far as I can ascertain, it was brought out mainly in Thailand. Do you have any info? Assuming of course that it is in decent condition.

We did 500 miles in our Thai assembled Toyota Soluna Vios in Thailand yesterday. It has done a total of 123,000km reliably. The Soluna model ran to 2003, then the Soluna Vios from 2003 to 2008, then the plain Vios from 2008. They are all sub-Corolla sized 4-door saloons with 1.5 litre engines and (mostly) 4-speed automatic boxes. Ours has a chain cam 1.5 litre 110PS engine. Not sure if the previous Soluna was belt or chain. Soluna Vios entry in car-by-car breakdown and also a road test at www.honestjohn.co.uk
