Unsurance policy
I am the registered owner of car No 1. My wife is the registered owner of car No 2 which is a low mileage 19 year old Renault 5 with very little cash value. We are trying to sell Car no 2 and the registered owner will not drive after her insurance expires early next month (it will still be taxed and have a valid MOT). My insurance policy covers me 3rd party for driving any car not owned or hired by me. Am I allowed to drive car no 2?

If the car itself is not insured then no one can drive it on a different
car's policy. The only way would be on a trader's policy, like mine, or a multi car policy. Try driving it and you will get picked up in an ANPR check.
