Scrap happy
I am looking to buy a new car on the scrappage deal. Have been looking at: Hyundai - just was not feeling it, although I appreciate excellent value for money. Rio Chill - Found just to tinny, poor handling. Fiat Punto - good drive but discouraged by poor resale Value. So at the moment the Fiat 500 is winning although I think it's a car you have to love and I am not in love with it. I would love an Audi 3 but have to be sensible about my finances. Are there any other small cars new on the scrappage worth considering before I make my choice of colour and spec on the Fiat 500?

The 500 gets much better suspension and steering from 2010MY which will probably be September/October time. But there is likely be a price increase too, to include ESP and support the discounts to BSM. Alternatively, if you don't mind £120/£90 tax, a Mazda 2 1.3TS2.
