Sport star
I have some money to spend on a new car and like the Nissan 370Z and the BMW Z4, both have great looks and initially it was the Z4 I fancied but your two star rating put me off. I have been on today and the Z4 under the Roadster section has 4 stars. What’s the difference?

2 stars was for the old Z4 because of its feel-free steering. The latest Z4 Sdrive coupe convertible version is better. The Nissan 370Z is fantastic, even thrilling, and good value. But don't ignore the new 340PS Audi TTRS (www.honestjohn.co.uk/road_tests/index.htm?id=397) Better tax and economy then the Z4, astonishing engine and a stunning, supersafe quattro drivetrain slightly biased to understeer. I'd rather go quickly in one of them than anything else, apart from maybe an RS4 or an R8.
