Bling and buy
I want to buy a Mondeo Titanium X, which appears to come with 18" low profile tyres (and no option). Over the years, you seem to suggest that this combination of wheels and tyres, on various makes and models, compromises the ride quality. Could you please tell me the pros and cons of having these tyres fitted.

Pros: Bling, ultimate dry grip on a racetrack.
Cons: Poorer handling, poorer steering feel, poorer ride quality, poorer tyre life, greater vulnerability of both the tyres and the rims to damage, more expensive tyres.
