Maz power
I currently drive a new Mazda 6 estate auto (petrol). Nice car but limited mid-range torque. Mazda has recently introduced a new range of turbodiesel engines and I have been able to drive the 2.2 litre 160 bhp version that was extremely impressive - better than the Passat 2.0 litre TD. Two questions: have you tried the car with this engine, and does Mazda intend to introduce an auto version?

Yes. Road test and video test at www.honestjohn.co.uk. No to the auto. The question was asked at the launch.
