Carbon tyretracks

For the past 2 years I've been running a Volvo XC70. This car has given me all the comfort that I could wish for with its fantastic seats and long travel suspension. In addition, over the last winter the long-travel suspension, in conjunction with the 4x4 system has allowed me to confidently call on customers across North Yorkshire and Northumberland that my colleagues in their low-slung 2-wheel drive BMWs, Mercs and Audis could not get to. Sadly our company has implemented a CO2 limit on all vehicles, and for my pay scale I'm stuck at 180g/km CO2. I need an automatic, so what choice do I have?

Subaru does not do a diesel automatic. BMW's new 204PS X1 diesel auto 4WD is 167g/km. Interestingly, the Toyota RAV-4 petrol Valvematic petrol 4WD Multidrive S CVT auto is 177g/km, so under your limit, but the RAV-4 2.2 diesel 4WD 6-speed automatic is 189g/km CO2. Honda is about to do an i-DTEC CR-V auto, but, though the manual is 171g/km, the auto is 195g/km, actually higher than the CR-V petrol auto, which is 193g/km.
