Uncover operation
My Jazz is 3 yrs old at the end of August and I'm considering whether to replace it (before the bills start) or extend the warranty. If I went, for instance, for the Warranty Direct deluxe cover to start when Honda's runs out, would there be a period of time where claims would be 'difficult' as the policy was just taken out with WD. Would they say that faults had pre-existed their warranty?

Not if the cover was consecutive and not if they did not inherit a fault,
by which I mean a fault Honda had not properly fixed under the Honda warranty.
