What is the best way to sell a 2,200 mile 2008/08 ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH 5,900 cc S V12 2+2, and what sort of price should I be looking for? The spec reads: Automatic, Oynx Black, Air Conditioning, Airbags, Alarm, Alloy Wheels, Auto Dimming Mirror, Battery Conditioner, Bluetooth, CD Autochanger, Chrome Exterior Door Release, Climate Control, Cruise Control, Fire Extinguisher, First Aid Kit, Front Fog Lights, Front Stone Guards, Heated Front Screen, Heated Seats, Leather Trim, Computer, Rear Parking Distance Control, Satellite Navigation, Tracker, Traction Control, Tyre Pressure Monitor.

Based on recent auction results it might be down to about £80,000 to the trade. But I don't know anyone who would buy it in current market conditions. You might find some rich guy in Malaysia by advertising in the Straits Times, or in Thailand by trying the Bangkok Post or The Nation, but I don't know what ‘Aston Martin’ means to rich people there. A last resort would be a top car auction at BCA, www.british-car-auctions.co.uk Normal cars have gone up since December, but the big stuff is still falling and is very, very hard to place.
