Will a windscreen scratch be an MoT failure?

My wife's car got hit by a pellet of rubble when passing a building site, leaving deep scratches on the bonnet and windscreen in line of sight. The windscreen doesn't buff like the bonnet, and these are quite deep scratches. She's surprised the screen deflected and didn't crack. Is this likely to be an MoT issue? Thanks for the great reviews, stay safe!

The windscreen is a testable item under the MoT. The car will fail the test if affects the driver's view or the scratch is in zone A (directly in front of the driver) and greater than 10mm in diameter.
