Taking the disc-kit

I have just had my second year service on my Honda FRV. 2.2iCDTI, mileage 19,000. I was relieved of the sum of £345 and then told that my brake discs were worn to minimum. I drive the car sensibly and still on the original tyres. I would therefore expect that these discs would be replaced under warranty. Alas Honda said no. Would you consider this to be unreasonable? It is the first car that I have ever had on which the discs wear out faster than the brake pads.

Yes. I would at least expect a contribution from Honda on the basis that the discs should have lasted 40k miles. So ask for half the cost of the replacement.
