Rights and wrongs
My son has recently purchased a SAAB 1.9 diesel. When taking a journey shortly afterwards he noticed a sound from the rear, which he thought was a bearing fault. I advised him to return to the dealer but he took it to a local garage. The fault turned out to be a tyre problem and following a further check, resulted in the need for 4 tyres. Additionally the garage reported that the brakes needed attention. My son's reluctance to contact the dealer over these issues was due to the fact he had negotiated a small discount when buying the car. I told him that he still had recourse to approach the dealer. Could you please advise?
