I’m moving to Belgium and want to buy a car in this country before I go. You advised me of LHD dealers such as The Left Hand Drive Place at Daneshill, near Basingstoke, but the cars are still quite expensive compared to RHD. I know its preferable to get a LHD car but is it really necessary?

The Belgian consulate should be able to tell you more.
